We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Catering Supervisor & Coordinator to join our catering business in Doha, Qatar.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, coordinating catering orders and events, communicating with customers, and ensuring that all catering services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

The candidate should have strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and ensure smooth operations from the initial customer inquiry to the successful completion of each catering event.

Key Responsibilities

1. Catering & Event Coordination

• Plan, organize, and coordinate catering orders and events.
• Communicate with customers regarding catering requirements, menus, pricing, and event arrangements.
• Coordinate catering schedules, food preparation, packaging, transportation, and event setups.
• Ensure all catering orders are prepared and delivered on time.
• Oversee catering setups and ensure professional food presentation.
• Handle last-minute changes and resolve operational issues during events.

2. Kitchen Operations & Supervision

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation schedules.
• Ensure food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are maintained.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure catering orders meet customer requirements.

3. Customer Service & Order Management

• Respond to customer inquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Manage catering bookings, order confirmations, and customer requests.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with catering services.

4. Inventory & Supplier Coordination

• Monitor kitchen inventory, ingredients, and catering supplies.
• Coordinate purchasing and deliveries with suppliers.
• Ensure sufficient stock is available for upcoming catering orders.
• Monitor food waste and assist in controlling operational costs.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, purchases, and inventory.

5. Administrative & Operational Responsibilities

• Maintain organized records of catering orders, event schedules, and customer information.
• Coordinate staff schedules based on catering requirements.
• Prepare basic operational reports and communicate updates to management.
• Ensure kitchen operations comply with applicable food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Support management in improving catering operations and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in catering operations, event catering, hospitality, or food and beverage management.
• Experience supervising kitchen staff and coordinating catering events.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage catering operations with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations.
• Experience managing customer orders, suppliers, and inventory.
• Ability to work flexible hours depending on catering schedules and events.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Candidates currently residing in Qatar are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working for a catering company, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality establishment.
• Experience organizing private events, family gatherings, and corporate catering.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected operational challenges.
• Familiarity with catering presentation, event setups, and food service arrangements.
