1. Key Dimensions and Related Job Results

1.1. Support implementation of business excellence frameworks, operational excellence initiatives, and continuous improvement programmes across the organisation.

1.2. Follow and track organisational KPIs, performance dashboards, operational excellence metrics, and retail scorecards.

1.3. Conduct process reviews, identify operational gaps, and recommend business process improvements and standardisation opportunities.

1.4. Benchmark operational practices and recommend best practices to improve organisational effectiveness.

1.5. Plan and conduct monthly surprise audit visits across retail stores and supply chain operations as per the annual plan based on risk assessment in Bahrain and prepare audit reports for respective stores.

1.6. Conduct operational, financial, compliance, and process audits across retail stores, supply chains and corporate departments. Perform surprise audits, stock audits, cash audits, and compliance inspections. Identify non-conformities, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.

1.7. Ensure audit activities are completed in accordance with approved audit methodologies and standards.

1.8. Preparing the monthly internal audit report and submitting it to the HOD on a timely basis (audit visit/monthly retail scorecard and other related reports).

1.9. Support enterprise risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities.

1.10. Identify operational, financial, inventory, compliance, and business risks and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls and minimise risk exposure. Recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls and reduce operational risks.

1.11. Evaluate fraud prevention mechanisms and investigate suspected irregularities where required.

1.12. Strengthen accountability and operational discipline across departments.

1.13. Ensure ethical standards and corporate governance principles are maintained.

1.14. Evaluate compliance with organisational policies, SOPs, financial controls, procurement procedures, inventory management processes, and operational guidelines.

1.15. Ensure audit activities are completed in accordance with approved audit methodologies and standards.

1.16. Follow up with the respective team to ensure the implementation of the recommendation.

1.17. Support management reviews and governance committees with audit insights and performance analysis.

1.18. Maintain audit records, the findings database, and compliance tracking systems.

1.19. Monitor system-related tasks pending from retail stores, MIS preparations, reports, and their analysis.

1.20. To facilitate physical inventory counts across retail stores in Qatar and ensure compliance with inventory control procedures. Monitoring and posting monthly inventory count results in SAP.

1.21. Participating process implementations and recommending necessary changes.

1.22. Support strategic planning and organisational performance management initiatives.

1.23. Promote innovation, productivity enhancement and cost optimisation programmes.

1.24. Attending and investigating the following.

1.24.1. Reporting of Embezzlement Activities (Internal).

1.24.2. Reporting of Embezzlement Activities (External).

1.24.3. Stock Disputes.

1.24.4. Supervising and controlling all other miscellaneous activities.

1.25. Coordinating with HR for DA copies of case summaries prepared and submitted.

1.26. Perform any other duties, assignments, or special projects as directed by the reporting manager or head of department. Monitor organizational compliance obligations and governance frameworks.

1.27. Strengthen accountability and operational discipline across departments.

1.28. Ensure ethical standards and corporate governance principles are maintained.

1.29. Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from audit findings.

1.30. Support enterprise risk management initiatives and maintain a reviewed risk register.

1. Minimum Qualifications/Education/Experience/Training/Knowledge

1.1. Master’s in Commerce or CIA / CISA / IAP

1.2. Good communication skills in English & Hindi. Knowledge in Arabic is an added advantage.

1.3. Good verbal and written communication skills and analytical & reporting skills.

1.4. 5-6 years of experience in the relevant field is a must.

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

  • Driving License (Required)
