Customer Service Representative

A Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing excellent support to customers by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. They serve as the primary point of contact through phone, email, live chat, or in person, helping customers with product or service information, order processing, billing questions, and general assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email, chat, or in person.
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
  • Process orders, returns, refunds, exchanges, and service requests accurately.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions using CRM or ticketing systems.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, pricing, and company policies.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
  • Meet individual and team performance metrics, including response time, customer satisfaction, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve customer service processes and overall customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or a call center is preferred but not always required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
