Job Title: Broadcast Journalist

Al Jazeera Media Network is seeking a talented Broadcast Journalist to deliver high-quality news content across television and digital platforms. In this role, you will research, write, and present news stories while maintaining the organization’s global journalistic standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write, and present news stories
• Conduct interviews with sources and experts
• Cover live events and breaking news
• Collaborate with editors, producers, and technical teams
• Ensure accuracy, fairness, and editorial standards
• Produce content for digital and social media platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
• Experience in broadcast or digital journalism preferred
• Strong writing and storytelling skills
• Excellent communication and on-camera presence
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments

Work Hours

Typical schedules may include:

• Day shifts and night shifts depending on news coverage
• Rotational schedule including weekends and holidays

Compensation & Hourly Pay (Qatar)

Estimated Monthly Salary: QAR 12,000 – QAR 20,000
Estimated Hourly Pay: QAR 70 – QAR 115/hour

Salary depends on experience and media exposure.
